Europe’s #1 destination for EU-research, collaboration and market opportunities.
The 12th annual edition of Sustainable Places is a hybrid event held from the 23rd until the 25th of September 2024 at the European Convention Center in Luxembourg.
Highlight that during this event the BDTA will be actively participating in two workshops:
On September 24th, 2024 our PMO Manager, Pablo Legazpi, will be participating at “From Energy Simulations to Standards”. He’ll be presenting how mathematical simulation is used in the EU-project Hycool-IT to model dynamic response and integration of systems.
This workshop will try to identify the functional application of these simulations and the starting point of a potential standardization which could make possible reusable components, real time use and connections between systems.
Angel Font, the President of European Innovation Martketplace (EIM) will act as Workshop Chairman. Other EU-projects such as Hypergryd, Dyman, SenergyNets, Hybris and Hystore will be contributing with their experience in this field.
On September 25th, 2024 the BDTA will organize “Semantics & Construction with Building Digital Twins”.
This workshop will address the role, the use and the future of semantics in the construction sector. The BDTA will present a roadmap of its progress made with the ongoing development of an “Ontology Catalogue” towards enabling interoperability between buildings and their digital representations across the EU. The contributing projects in this workshop will be DigiChecks, BIM2TWIN, OptimiseAI, Metabuilding Labs, Hypergryd and the Digital Roads of the Future Program from the University of Cambridge.
